It’s hard describe the awe I’ve experienced in traveling the world for much of my life. There is a sacrifice in touring and not having all the comforts of home, or missing your loved ones, or feeling unsure of what comes next…but as with most things in life, there is a reward that comes in countless little moments, in the friends that become your family for just a moment in time. Something that changes you forever and that you’ll always carry with you. Sometimes pictures capture it, and sometimes you just hope your memory repaints them when called upon. The picture above was taken from the top of a quiet hilltop in New Zealand…on a hike I snuck in before a show night.
